Print on the T-shirt says “I’m Everyman”. This refers to everyman’s right i.e. the freedom to roam that is an ancient tradition in the Nordics. The right was officially confirmed with the Sports Act in 1973. Thanks to everyman’s right, people are free to move about in the nature despite land tenure. We are allowed to hike, camp, and pick berries and mushrooms, as long as we remember to obey nature conservation rules. The shirt was used to protest against crop spraying in a demonstration in the Susisuo bog, Muhos, in 1985.
