The Aalto vase 1936, Mobira Cityman 1987, maternity box 2017… 100 Objects from Finland strives to describe the road that Finns have taken to reach this day. All objects have been Made in Finland and Designed in Finland, but most of all, they represent Life in Finland. She has written both fact and fiction, including scriptwriting exhibitions, narrative concerts and TV programmes. The object of her year of birth is an ABC book called Aikamme aapinen by Kirsi Kunnas. Designer Pekka Toivanen has participated in creating various exhibitions and spaces, and he works as the director of Design Studio Muotohiomo in Helsinki. The hit product of his childhood was the Sarvispulkka sledge from 1967 that carried him as a baby during family ski trips on the ice of the archipelago of Rymättylä. The Finnish Institute in Estonia was founded in 1991, the year that saw the plastic sauna whisk, the first GSM network in the world (by Radiolinja) that got started in Finland, and President Mauno Koivisto.
