Oiva Toikka’s Dewdrop (Kastehelmi) product family solves the problem that still troubled pressed glass production in the 1960s. After pressing, plates are flame-polished. Toikka created a line of bubbles in the bottom of the plates to balance the products during polishing. This set of dishes brings drops of water on the table just like its name implies. Dewdrops are now back in production.
